After 9-11 hours of pure torture, I have finally completed the most difficult piece of art I've ever done. Lo & behold, My Chemical Romance. From left to right, it's Bob, Frank, Gerard, Mikey, & Ray. The reference pic can be found here.

Bob Bryar - I'd have to say that doing him was probably the hardest out of all of them. Why? Because he had a goddamn icepack dangling from his mouth and he had stubble, which, let me tell you know, you should avoid at all costs if you are a beginner. So, I had scan a magazine cover I was fortunate enough to have & replace his head with that, & then vector it. It was his face that gave me hell. His nose, lips, & eyes all seemed scattered, so I had to use my instinct & just move them around to where I felt they looked appropriate. After that came his stubble, which was a bitch to do because it kept looking like fungus was growing on his face. God bless the opacity bar; without that baby, I probably would have just given up on this. His hair was actually pretty fun to do though C:

Frank Iero - Frank was actually pretty fun to do as well. However, his eyes were closed in the reference pic, so once again, I had use my magazine scan (which I acidentally deleted just when my scanner stopped working). I'm quite happy with how he came out though. Except his half-assed hair; I might go back & fix that later, but chances are I'll never go back to this pic again. He was the first one whose skin I shaded, & I'm especially happy with it

Gerard Way - I'm sure that you've all assumed I did him first C: When I first drawing out his face outline, it somewhat resembled a potato, so I was already feeling discouraged, but I kept going! I personally think it paid off. At first his eyes were an ugly vomit green color, but I fixed those up & they came out much nicer. His hair was probably the easiest to do as well. When I went to shade his skin though, I set the reference pic to a setting that would make shading easier, & he was so pale, hardly anything showed up! The eyliner was hard to do too, but that was only because I did it on him first.

Mikey Way - Mikey was probably the easiest, so there's not much I can say except that I'm very happy with the way he came out. He didn't give me too much trouble at all, & once again, that's because I did a half-assed job on his hair. Oh well... His lips look a bit retarded too, now that I look at it...

Ray Toro - I think that you can all safely assume his hair, or mane of terror, as I've taken to calling it, was the hardest to do. In fact, I wouldn't even be satisfied with a bullshit job on his hair, so I didn't bother shading it at all. I hope it's too dark to tell though. Vectoring his clothing was particularly fun, though a bit time consuming.

Okay, everything besides thrie irises & the BG were vectored. I did, however, make the fire! I love how it came out <3 Well, all in all, I like how the whole pic came out. I was going to do The Black Parade in the background, but I was too tired & that would have taken too long, so I settled with a "Famous Last Words" theme. The funny thing about vectors is no matter how long it may have taken you to make one, half an hour later, you want to make another one. I'll probably do 30 Seconds To Mars next (after I finish the requests, anyway...>.<

I'd appreciate any critique that you may have to offer me, since this is my first real-person (people) vector). Before this, I'd only vectored a few manga scans.

Oh, & sorry about the extra big watermark, but the last thing I need is for this to get ripped.
